Looking to grow your bank of skilled construction professionals? Or perhaps you’ve got capacity to
take on trainees and apprenticeships? Building Plymouth can help you to source the right people for the right job.
Regardless of whether you’re an employer thinking of taking on an extra member of the team or apprentice, or you’re thinking of entering the industry, there are several funding opportunities available to you to help you achieve your goals.
As an employer or someone looking to improve their skills, you may be concerned regarding the associated cost of doing so. However, with many funding options available, we’ll work with you to help point you in the right direction.
You can find out more about funding from our project sponsors below:
Hamilton Deed, one of our project sponsors, has announced a range of new training programmes for 2018. If you’d like to find out more, just download Hamilton Deed’s training page.
Also, Heart of the South West Apprenticeship Service provides fully funded training and support to equip your business with the skills you need to grow.
The service can provide businesses in Devon and Somerset with:
• Recognised accredited qualifications and bespoke training courses for their employees to enhance their skills and progress into apprenticeships.
• Business support to enable you to take advantage of Apprenticeship opportunities that work for your business.
Businesses can take advantage of one or both of these opportunities. The programme is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). This means that there is no cost to the business.
The service is managed by Serco and delivered through a network of high quality training providers. Read more on the Apprenticeship PDF Apprenticeship PDF.
