Building Plymouth Open Sites - latest update on availability
Key national and regional construction contractors are opening major construction sites across Plymouth in March 2020 as part of Building Plymouth Open Sites Week.
The visits are proving very popular and several sites are already fully booked up. However we still have some availability so make sure you book your place now to avoid missing this unique and fascinating insight into how a ‘live’ construction site works.
Visit a site with Building Plymouth
Building Plymouth is offering a unique chance for local people to see ‘behind the scenes’ at twelve major ‘live’ construction sites including residential projects and heritage projects as well as office and school builds.
Aiming to inspire young people, career changers and job seekers to join this thriving industry, as well as engaging with local residents, Open Sites will showcase how the various buildings and structures are constructed, and the diverse range of skills and professions needed on site to deliver these projects.
