Celebrating the Road To Mayflower

It was a big night tonight at the Mayflower 400 Volunteer awards.

The Road to Mayflower team were thrilled to join in the city-wide celebrations at the Mayflower 400 Volunteer awards and receive a Recognition award. Everyone has worked so hard to deliver the series of stunning installations along one of the main entrance routes into Plymouth, against the unprecedented effects of the pandemic, as part of the Mayflower400 ‘Adopt a Street’ project.

Celebrating the achievements of the volunteers in The Road to Mayflower team

Led by the Building Plymouth partnership, Plymouth’s local construction and built environment professionals were keen to play their part in helping our city prepare for the Mayflower400 commemorations in 2020 and leave a lasting legacy for 2020 and beyond.

We’d like to acknowledge and share those achievements in a short video we’ve put together that shows just what can be accomplished when we all work together with an exciting and challenging vision – we hope you enjoy seeing the changes as they take shape and continue to enjoy them in the future – The Road To Mayflower
