One tree closer to completing The Mayflower Forest

Planting the final Mayflower Forest trees

Finally we have managed to get all our trees for The Mayflower Forest planted, following the first stages of lifting lockdown. With amazing weather and much enthusiasm, The Road to Mayflower team was able to plant the final trees at Marsh Mills roundabout with Building Plymouth’s own Emma Hewitt claiming one as her own ‘special’ tree!

There was much excitement at the completion works being able to get underway again and the whole project is now on course to be finished by the end of April.

Building Plymouth would like to say a massive thank you to our amazing team of volunteers, sponsors and Friends of the Mayflower Forest that came together to make this legacy project possible.
