Gareth Geen

Gareth joined the team in August 2024 to play a key role in supporting Plymouth’s construction and built environment sector skills partnership, Building Plymouth -​

As Construction Coordinator, Gareth champions opportunities for local people to engage in skills, training, education, careers and jobs in the local construction industry. He is dedicated to helping people overcome challenges and barriers, providing personalised support and guidance to empower and achieve their full potential. He does this as a skilled professional with notable expertise from his time working in recruitment, training and assessing, as well as establishing the IPS drugs and alcohol employability service at Shekinah charity and the Harbour centre.

Whilst originally from Wales, Gareth has made Plymouth his home and is currently studying for a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR and a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. He is an advocate for continuous learning and always enhancing his capabilities to better address the evolving needs of his clients and to improve support services. ​​​
