Building confidence, securing opportunities: Supporting education leavers into employment
Our support for education leavers is now well underway, and we’re delighted to share some fantastic feedback about the impact our Building Plymouth team is having on young people as they make the transition from education into employment.
Through one-to-one support from our Construction Coordinator, Gareth, Bella received advice, guidance and interview preparation to help build her confidence and prepare for her next career step.
Bella’s parent shared:
“Bella used the advice and interview preparation support she received and found the confidence to attend her interview independently. What was expected to be a three-minute interview turned into a 90-minute conversation, and just 20 minutes after leaving, she received a call offering her the job. She was absolutely over the moon and so proud of herself. The employer also commented on her excellent CV. We can’t thank the team enough for all their help and support.”
