Gwella Contracting will be attending Building Plymouth’s jobs and training drop-in session

Careers in construction aren’t just about building — they also involve making spaces safe, compliant, and ready for use. Gwella Contracting will be at our upcoming drop-in session to give insight into their work in asbestos removal and specialist site services.

The session offers an opportunity for local people to connect directly with employers and industry professionals, explore current vacancies, and gain a clearer understanding of the wide range of roles available across the construction sector. It is particularly useful for those who may not yet have considered specialist areas such as environmental services, where demand for skilled workers continues to grow.

Visitors will be able to learn more about the practical side of working in the industry, including how buildings are prepared for refurbishment or demolition, and the safety-critical processes involved in removing hazardous materials. Gwella Contracting’s team will be on hand to talk through what the job involves day-to-day, as well as the training and qualifications needed to get started.
