With over 28 years’ experience, Skills Group specialises in delivering apprenticeships, full-time courses and bespoke career development programmes across the South West.

We partner with top local companies and small to medium enterprises to kick-start careers and maximise business performance.

Skills Group is one of the largest independent training providers in the South West. Over the last few years, Skills Group has invested over £6 million in creating new realistic working environment training facilities state-of-the-art workshops, fitted with the tools and equipment used by industry.

Apprenticeships: Starting an apprenticeship will provide you with a full time job with a salary and on-going training. We specialise in a variety of construction trades, you can progress more quickly on to higher job levels, with more responsibility and a higher salary.

Full time courses: Our full time courses that provide hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art facilities, as well as work experience placement with top local employers and to support you with a progression route.

NVQ or National Vocational Qualifications: Gain professional accreditation L2 or 3, we can provide you with the construction NVQ relevant to your craft and also help you get both on and off the job training or improve your current skill set within the construction sector and gain your trade or advanced CSCS card.

All of our programmes include practical skills and theory and have a clear progression route from a full time programme directly to employment.
